i say thank you arenanet for another fun holiday! sure, the hats werent PERFECT, but, if having lackluster holiday hats helps GW2 come out quicker, then i say, bring on the hats! the decorations were beautiful, the quests were a nice change, (considering all ive been doing lately is cartographize-ing tyria) the items given to us (shards and whatnot) gave me a reason to farm low-level areas (TERMITE LEG FARMING FTW), and hey, a little lag now and then (especially on a huge event like this one) is nothing to complain about, especially since they added a chance to get the hats even AFTER the event. the only thing i DIDNT like about this wintersday was the whole polar bear thing, and since i literally learned about the little guy 15 minutes before anet removed the quest giver only gave me time for a run or two to test my luck. oh well, ill have something to look forward to next wintersday!

I missed the finale to go skiing (and i forgot to join after i got back)
I was crushed: no hats
Then Anet made the hats available through tuesday
